The Jones Stratos Snowboard is a dream for advanced riders who crave versatility and performance. It combines the best of freeride and freestyle, offering a playful yet powerful ride. The Stratos is a hybrid all-mountain board built with the body of a directional freeride board and the spirit of a freestyle board. The Stratos has a playful board feel thanks to a narrow sidecut and friendly flex, but the 10mm of taper and 3D Contour Base 3.0 give it the float and turn performance of a pow board. The directional rocker profile and Traction Tech 3.0 keep the Stratos locked on edge accelerating into carves and the textured Eco-plastic top sheet and Basalt stringers add torsional response and reduce board chatter in rough terrain. The Stratos also features Float Pack inserts that offer a setback stance option for the deepest days.

Posted on Jan 22, 2024I’m about 6’3 260lbs and this one will make you work for it. I ride a 9 and 0 stance with this one and it wants to go! If you enjoy the powder, this is a great ride for you. If I were to go back I’d drop down a size for more movement but regardless what you get, this thing will get through anything and everything. I’ve put it to the test with going off cliffs to riding through the trees. Definitely a great board for an aggressive rider.
