It seems like most freeride boards on the market are stiff and geared towards very advanced riders, while intermediate and beginner boards are geared towards all-mountain and freestyle riding. This board is exceptionally unique because it is an entry into the freeride world without having to be a pro. The Dream Weaver has amazing edge tech for great traction in any condition, even if it is icy or off-piste. Its directional shape, combined with about 20mm of setback and a blunt nose, helps it float well in powder, while the mid-flex feel of about 6/10 makes it the perfect combo to maintain stability at high speeds while having some playful pop underfoot to hit kickers and windlips. I would say a high beginner could grow into this board, or an advanced girl could have a blast on this board.
- Traction Tech 2.0 holds an edge even in icy conditions
- The 6/10 flex allows for a fun freestyle flair
- Smooth, stable, and easy to turn
- Not the board for jibs and rails in the park
The Dream Weaver is a high-performance all-mountain board with a friendly flex. It’s the perfect everyday, any-day board as it charges in pow or on piste, yet it’s soft enough to be playful in any terrain. The Dream Weaver’s Directional shape, Directional Rocker profile, and Traction Tech 2.0 edges provide stability riding through rough snow while the spooned nose and tail edges on the 3D Contour Base 1.0 reduce edge to catch and make it easy to turn in tight terrain. The Dream Weaver offers high performance without skimping on materials as it’s built with a super fast and durable Sintered 8000 base, an Eco-plastic top sheet, and a Classic Core that is specially profiled between the feet for added pop.
