The Stratos is a hybrid all-mountain board built with the body of a directional freeride board and the spirit of a freestyle board. The Stratos has a playful board feel thanks to a narrow sidecut and friendly flex, but the 10mm of taper and 3D Contour Base 3.0 give it the float and turn performance of a pow board. The directional rocker profile and Traction Tech 3.0 keep the Stratos locked on edge accelerating into carves and the textured Eco-plastic top sheet and Basalt stringers add torsional response and reduce board chatter in rough terrain. The Stratos also features Float Pack inserts that offer a setback stance option for the deepest days.

I usually ride a 162. The first thing I want to mention is its cool design. The board is indeed beautifully made. Now, about its technical characteristics, the first thing I want to highlight about this board is its incredible edge control. Its geometry has a huge camber, and the rocker only starts in a specific part. If you look... Read more

I will just say that this board will challenge your technique and skills but will reward you with sharp turns and locked-in edges if you can power through. The tail of the board does not have much rocker and is not very forgiving if you get lazy. When blowing through some chunder and dodging small humans, I almost ate it... Read more

At first glance, I wasn't really sure what the Stratos was all about but when I finally got a chance to ride it, I found that Jones' description was true: The Stratos looks like a freeride/powder board and it because of the extra nose, short tail, and some taper it does have some nice float but underfoot it really feels... Turntable, stable and fun
Originally posted at www.jonessnowboards.com on Sep 21, 2024First rode this on a powder day at Keystone CO. For context, I am 6’3, 260 lbs, have the 164W. Holy moly this thing was mowing through powder. Really fun board and used for any terrain. Wasn’t even on the powder binding set backs, and was plowing. Very turntable, easily maneuverable. Can’t wait to ride this in the 24-25 season.

Woods Weapon
Originally posted at www.jonessnowboards.com on Sep 2, 2024For 23/24 season I rode the Stratos solid 153 at 5’4”, around 140-145lbs, at the most narrow +/+ stance, around 500k vertical feet.
The 153 is a woods weapon. If it’s a powder day, then I’m in the trees, strapped to the Stratos, and having fun. Great balance between float and agility.
It’s also a reliable all-mountain board: plenty of stability and edge hold, glides down the cat tracks. Might be worth sizing up though if you’re more all-mountain. Especially on deeper days the shorter board is going to make you work for it. And that’s my one issue … I can’t use the set back stance on powder days. I’d upgrade in a heartbeat if they made narrower binding settings that were appropriate for the shorter board length, or if they made set backs for the front foot. Being stuck on the narrowest middle setting, the board wants to nosedive in deep stuff. Worth it for the steeper woods riding, but just be ready to lean back and burn for that pillowy line after jealously eyeing a storm wolf on the lift line.
Also rode the 156. Not surprisingly, the longer board had better float, and was less agile.
And the split 159. Kind of a controlled surfy feel in comparison. Having both reliable edge control and extra float is useful when you’re out of bounds on varied terrain.

Luke was amazing
5 /5
This was my first ever time buying ski’s and look guided me through it like he was a city tour guide. You cannot get a better person than Luke on curated. I was able to text him like he was a friend and ask question about certain skis and he would answer always in a great response quickly.

Alex Was extremely patient.
5 /5
Alex was extremely patient with me, it took me a couple months, to finally decide which board to get. Even when I ghosted him for several weeks, which I do feel bad about, he was kind and patient and saw all the way through to the end with me. Will be purchasing more from curated in the future and I hope it’s through Alex.

Jared was extremely knowledgeable!
5 /5
I really like how Curated approaches their sales process. With so many option the nuances between boards and sizes can make deciding on a board difficult. I loved that I could talk to Jared and bounce ideas off a real person who had a deep knowledge base. I looked at a ton of reviews and talked with shops, but I gained the most insight into my decision by chatting with Jared. He wasn't pushy and genuinely seemed stoked!

I had a great experience with Nate helping me find a new snowboard! I’ve been looking to elevate my rides and he gave me so much information but in such an organized fashion that I did not feel overwhelmed. He knows what he’s talking about and had first hand experience on the slopes ! I’m super satisfied with Nate’s help! I ended up buying a new board same day. So stoked for the new season.

Tristan was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction. He's got me looking good and feeling good next time i'm on the slopes.
5 /5
I kind of had an idea about what i was looking for, but Tristan helped me really get dialed in with the perfect gear. He helped me with sizing the board because i was torn between getting a wide board or not. He did a great job at explaining what he liked about certain products, so it was very helpful when picking out my stuff. The prices that i have seen for some of this gear on this website is incredible. Tristan really knows his stuff and i couldn't recommend him more.
