The Aviator 2.0 is a hard-charging directional twin built for expert all-mountain riders who like to rail turns and stomp airs anywhere on the mountain. This Aviator was designed in collaboration with Jones team rider Victor de la Rue and Jimmy Goodman. What sets the Aviator apart is its Full Camber profile. Victor and Jimmy swear by the power of full camber for edging on steeps and landing tricks on the tail. The Aviator also features a 3D Contour Base 2.0, Triax Fiberglass, Carbon/Innegra Reinforcement, an ECO-Plastic top sheet, and Traction Tech 3.5 edges. The 3D Contour Base starts after the contact point and helps eliminate edge catch and improve turn fluidity while the Triax fiberglass and Carbon Innegra layer under the Eco-Plastic top sheet offer supreme pop and lightning-fast response. The Aviator’s Power Core includes a section of ultralight Koroyd in the nose that absorbs chatter at a fraction of the weight of wood.

The amount of camber in this board allows it to store up so much energy to be released into any jump, roller, side-hit, even tiny moguls. The camber in this board is so aggressive and rewarding. Every down weighted turn into an unweighted edge switch feels so rewarding. The board will just slingshot you out of every turn with that camber profile popping at the apex of each turn/ edge switch. The aviator shines in all conditions! A lot of other reviews rated it lower in powder, but if you set back the bindings on this board the light nose crushes powder to make it easy to cruise through. This board can take you to any spot on the mountain.

Made me a better rider
Originally posted at www.jonessnowboards.com on May 11, 2024This is my second season riding, and I progressed a lot from riding this. The full camber and harder flex taught me the hard way to clean up my turns, but once I did, the feeling was awesome. I’m able to fully carve my turns now, handle air with confidence, and go fast. If you’re not afraid to push yourself as an intermediate rider, I’d recommend this for getting to that next level.

I kind of had an idea about what i was looking for, but Tristan helped me really get dialed in with the perfect gear.
