The shortest model in our surf-inspired quiver, the Mosquito is made for ripping into bottom turns, hacking lips, and getting pitted. It’s a pow-focused craft that thrives when ridden off the back foot, but its nimble nature makes it surprisingly versatile. From January tree lines to icy groomers or spring slush, the Mosquito’s compact outline – combined with an aggressive sidecut – keeps you cornering on a dime. A Surfy Camrock profile features lively camber between the feet that merges seamlessly into an extended rocker at the nose, boosting float and helping you make it through the bumpiest of sections. Like your favorite surf stick, it weighs next to nothing thanks to a Poplar/paulownia core that’s the lightest in our range. We’ve glassed this template with a unique combination of triax and biax fibres that deliver response and playfulness in equal measure, wrapping the topsheet around the rail in a precise build we call Nidactive Construction. It was also wide enough to let me bomb the hills and not feel unstable whatsoever. Wish I could compare it to other boards in the snow surf quiver but I love this board so far especially compared to my nidecker escape.

Tyler made great recommendations and really took the time to understand where my skill level is at and where I intend to ski. Ultimately, I was uncomfortable making the investment without trying the skis first, so I ended up buying a pair that I had rented several times and really liked.
