We wanted to pay tribute to all the boards that had derived from the iconic 420 by doing our own version of a 420 spinoff. We took the short-wide concept and applied it to a traditional MidBite twin profile. But to keep the Taper that makes the floatability of the 420 we needed to tweak the MidBite. Into the all-new Bi-polar MidBite outline. This new Midbite has a deeper inlay on the front of the board than it has on the back. This creates a taper as the edge goes out 2mm less than on the nose giving you a slight taper on a twin shape.

The Yes. Warca is a lively all-mountain board for the advanced rider who wants something that can tackle the whole mountain. I've ridden the Warca on everything from icy steeps to low-angle pow and found it impressively capable everywhere I take it. Ideal for
- A full-camber board that is not too aggressive and happily tackles anything on the mountain
- Excellent float in shallow to medium depth powder
- Holds a great edge in firm snow.
Not ideal for
- The Warca is wide underfoot and might not be best for riders with small feet.
- The full-camber profile may be too stiff for beginners or intermediate riders.
- The shorter sidecut is not the most stable at high speeds.

Originally posted at www.yesnowboard.com on May 20, 2024Great board, floats great in powder and is catch free on the piste flatbased but the midbite secures stable and grippy turns. It has a pretty damp flex that is perfekt for backcountry and stable at high speed, its also a decent carver. My personal opinion is that you dont downsize that much i could have used the 150 or 153 according to my weight but i am glad i have the support from the 155.

I really appreciated Leo’s honestly as most online reviews of the ski equipment I was looking for were far too positive, and really very few people willing to admit or call out truths about various options, however Leo was spot on and understood exactly what I was experiencing with my current skis which perhaps weren’t the best choice for where I ski. That said we had a huge downfall of snow today and my skis performed absolutely brilliantly, but with Leo’s help I decided to upgrade my skis anyway and also needed bindings for my new Atomic Maverick 88ti skis, following Leo’s advice I opted for the Marker Griffin 13 ID Bindings.
