Why I recommend these
Expert verdict
The Armada ARV 106 Skis are a dream for those who love a playful yet stable ride. These skis are perfect for all-mountain freestyle enthusiasts who want to tackle everything from powder to park. The Smear Tech’s edgeless base beveling in the tip and tail makes them incredibly smooth in soft snow, while the Poplar-Ash Core ensures they can handle high-speed chatter. They might feel a bit heavy, and the top sheet can be fragile, but the performance they deliver is worth it. If you're an intermediate to advanced skier looking to send it hard, these skis are your ticket to fun.

The ARV 106 has been our most versatile all-mountain freestyle ski since its inception. It brings an ultra-playful yet stable ride to high performance skiers tired of tossing sticks in the trash every half season. The ARV 106 features Smear Tech’s edgeless base beveling in tip and tail, enhancing soft snow performance and adding additional release. It’s reinforced with AR75 Sidewall construction and a Poplar-Ash Core to absorb high speed chatter and any rail, wall or concrete you can press them on. The ARV 106 is as at home surfing the white wave as it is thrashing the pro park.
