The Curated Take
The Black Crows Camox are a really fun ski that does pretty much everything well. Rocker at the tip and tail make this a freestyle oriented ski that is still stiff enough to excel on groomed snow. At 97mm underfoot they perform well in all snow conditions, but aren't ideal for those deep storm days. They do really well, however, in the chopped up crud you find the day after a storm. Generous camber underfoot also make these a poppy ski that transitions well between turns and give it a playful feeling. These skis have seen a lot of early and late season snow conditions while ski patrolling, which is notoriously hard on skis, and I have had no durability issues.
- A playful all-mountain ski that does everything well.
- A twin-tip ski that carves really well.
- Has playful flex but stiff enough to ski anything.
- The turn radius on these skis could be a bit tighter.
This unbeatable all-terrain toy is known for its forgiveness and playfulness. Its progressive flex makes it a great ski for progression, supporting its freestyle-derived playful DNA. Its long effective edge gives it good stability and a big grip at high speed. Creativity for all on every type of terrain.
