The Prodigy 1X is a freestyle ski for intermediate to expert skiers. It is a phenomenal ski in and out of the park. Being only 88mm underfoot, the Prodigy 1X lacks flotation in anything more than 1 or 2 inches of fresh powder. However, by being more narrow underfoot, the Prodigy 1X can really pick up speed and hold an aggressive edge when the hardpack gets icy. This is a ski that will help you progress, but also one that you can grow into. The Prodigy 1X is extremely durable, so hit those rails over and over again. You won't regret it! I know I never have. My favorite thing to do is hot lap the park at Brighton in Utah on these skis.
