Jake Renner tested this product
The symmetrical twin-tip design of the Chronic 101 makes it well-suited for freestyle and park skiing, allowing skiers to effortlessly ski switch and perform tricks in both directions. The ski's moderate flex pattern strikes a balance between stability at higher speeds and playfulness for tricks and jumps. When it comes to performance, the Chronic 101 offers a dynamic and lively ride.... Read more
Ideal for
  • Light swing weight allows for ease of spinning and turn initiation
  • Full tip and tail rocker plus a 101mm underfoot provides decent float in ungroomed terrain and ease of pivoting motion
  • Playful flex rating with a touch of camber underfoot provides pop and edge hold
Not ideal for
  • Thin tip and tail tech may cause durability issues with regard to delamination
  • Softer flex rating creates a bit of movement in the nose at high speeds and on hardpacked snow

The line chronics are an extremely fun ski that can shred anything on the mountain. They give you the float to rip in the powder with ease while also giving you the pop and play of a park ski for when you want to rip the park. With a short turn radius, these skis have the turn ease skiers dream... Read more

The Chronic 101 is new to the world ski, as they are making 2 different waist widths in the chronic model from Line this year. It has a great feel, is very responsive, is lighter in weight given the 101mm width, and is durable! These will hold up in just about any conditions you throw them at. A fan favorite... Read more

New LINE Chronic 101

Originally posted at lineskis.com on Nov 7, 2023
Dave Sugnet here, former LINE MC Team Rider. SO STOKED on this ski. It's the ski I've been dreaming of and wishing LINE made for a few years now. I've been riding Blends in the park which are a ton of fun and ultra-flexible, but they were not substantial enough for me to really drive the ski, hold an edge, and have stability on huge jumps. Some of the old chronics felt like they were made out of papier-machet and they were just not burly enough for me being 6 ft tall. These new Chronics come in a wider version at 101mm underfoot (hell yea) and have a much thicker sidewall than previous versions. They feature new thin-tip technology for light swing weight, combined with the beefier sidewall construction making for seriously radical pop and energy in this ski. Excited to charge hard on these skis around the mountain and in the park this season while filming for new movie projects.

Zach pays attention to your needs!
5 /5
Zach was great at listening to my request and desires out of equipment. As a 1wk/yr skier. He coulg have just said yep here is your weight, ht. budget and here is your gear. Instead he really paid attention to the issues I have had with gear in the past. The desires I had out of my future gear. Look forward to maybe giving an additional review and feedback when I use this gear in a few weeks.

My first time making a snowboard purchase. Brenden’s on point he took the time to find out my skill level, and was where I was planning on going. How much I was willing to spend. He gave me a lot of recommendations broke them down to me and even gave me advice on where I should go around my area. If you need help he is the guy.

Quick chat with Charlie, easy to figure out what i needed and what fit my needs. Ended up going with a classic ski and binding that I've used in the past that has been updated and is going to be a banger. Cheers Charlie, thanks for the assist.

Ethan was super helpful
5 /5
Ethan helped me find some really great boots that I wouldn't have really even thought of. I haven't purchased new gear in probably 10 years. A LOOOOTTT has changed. He introduced me to the Dalbello Cabrio line 3 piece boots that have more flex, which I really need with my repaired ACL! He's also torn/repaired his, so we had that in common - super helpful. First season back on the slopes since my repair, so I really need something that can handle my moment / easier on my knees. I like the tongue removal component he suggested since I do have a foot with a plate and pins in it as well. Getting into traditional boots is a giant pain! Looking forward to trying these out!! Thanks Ethan !
