We designed the Maysis to perform like a workhorse and fit like a glove, and its feature-forward design has it ranked as a perennial bestseller. Our Maysis Wide snowboard boot features a last and a shell that are 7mm wider than a traditional snowboard boot.
It’s success starts with a heat-moldable liner, made of open-cell Intuition® foam - allowing the liner to form to the exact shape of your leg, ankle, and foot for superior fit, warmth, and comfort. The secret to the award-winning fit is our Conda™ liner lacing system. Powered by a BOA® Fit System dial, this forgiving and adjustable harness is designed to pull the user's heel into the boot's heel pocket. This urethane-based harness hugs your ankle and flexes naturally.
Externally, we started with an articulating cuff to reduce distortion when bending the knee, and we've added an abrasion-resistant rubber compound for unrelenting durability. A high-powered BOA® Fit System H4 Coiler closes the shell securely and can be done without ever removing your gloves.
Lastly, to add durability and maintain the boot's flex over the boot's lifetime, we constructed the K2 Maysis using our Endo™ technology. Underfoot, we've used premium materials to improve damping and grip. The outsole is built using our proprietary This Grips!™ dual-rubber compound to provide excellent grip both on and off the snow. This is all set atop a dual-density midsole comprised of a lightweight EVA and our proprietary Harshmellow™, designed to dampen vibration on rough terrain and cushion big landings.

Ideal for
- All-mountain riding. Really solid responsiveness on intermediate and expert groomers.
- Quick lace up/unlace
- Great sole traction on snow, pavement, and board
Not ideal for
- Not the most comfortable boot. My feet were a bit sore after waiting in lift lines and digging in for long durations on catwalks.
- These boots are slightly heavier than I would prefer. Not worth worrying about for a beginner/intermediate rider.
- BOA lace system is convenient but easy to break if not looked after/stored properly.

Ideal for
- Best for Riders who have larger or differently shaped feet that have a hard time finding comfortable boots
- Non-traditional Conda liner system provides incredible heel hold and comfort - adjustable from the outer shell via a BOA
- Flexible upper shell that's separate from the lower shell allowing ankle flex that doesn't cut off circulation or require a tight inner liner
Not ideal for
- Measure carefully to choose between the Wide and Regular versions, Regular fitting is wider than most boots

Wide boots are great
Originally posted at k2snow.com on Dec 18, 2024Getting used to these wide boots has been relatively easy. I’m stuffing 12 pounds of s**t into a 10 pound bag. Size 12 feet into size 10 wide boots. The flex is even and I made them even better by putting in some Aline insoles. It’s my first time not having Burton boots, and I am very happy.

I have been conversing with Ken for over a year he would curate me a set up and I’d just ghost him.
