I was looking to upgrade my beginner set of skis (Atomic Cloud 9s) and had no idea where to begin. Joe asked all the right questions to help me narrow down what I wanted out of my next set. I needed skis with more stability while turning and at high speeds, and could handle the variety of snow/ice east coast winters bring. Luke was very helpful as I am new to skiing but I feel as if I'm acclimating faster than the average person. I wanted to get something a little more advanced that I could grow into quickly and it also be useful for all-mountain usage. At first I thought I had made my decision prior to talking to him about getting Volkl mantra 88's, but I determined with his help that a larger waist was going to be a more versatile ski for me in the Rockies. A few conversations later, I fell into the Rustler 9's instead of using Volkl mantra 88's or mantra 7's. He really helped push me in the right direction so I could make a targeted approach. Thanks a bunch Luke. When I get my next skis to diversify my quiver I will give you a jingle!

I ski in Killington Vt where they are known to have extremely knowledgeable skiers/boarders, coaches etc. and they do to a degree but I will tell you that Ben was more helpful than all of them. I was told so many different things that didn't really line up with what I noticed when I demo'd skis but everything Ben said about the ski's I demo'd was spot on. I am grateful to have found him and will share my experience with others. Great guy - he worked hard and answered more questions that I would imagine he would care to but he answered them all and hung in there with me right through the end. If I am ever in Alaska, I hope to meet him and take some runs with him sometime!
