I was able to try my friends Heras when I was deciding what boots to get this year and they were awesome. The Heras are perfect for the intermediate to advanced rider who loves to carve all over the mountain and is looking for a stiffer, more responsive boot overall.
Ideal for
- Super responsive, yet comfortable boot
- Urethane inserts in the sole eat up all the chatter under foot
- Best for hard carvers
Not ideal for
- If the side boa is too tight, feet can go numb
- The grip on the sole is not great, can tend to slip

Beyond happy!

The double BOA is worth the extra money. They’re not too stuff and not too loose. My old boots were Ride and lasted me 13 years. I stuck with Rode this time again and am very happy with them!

These are not medium flex, they are extremely soft
Originally posted at ridesnowboards.com on Dec 4, 2023I bought this for my wide feet & because I love the ankle hold, the best of any boots I ever tried, however, I wish they did not advertise this as medium flex boots... these were so soft that they ruined my season last year, I couldnt go steep or fast without feeling like I was gonna eat sxxxt, felt super unstable, I would have bought the Hera Pro had I known... unfortunately I can't afford to spend another $400 now :((((
