Trial FAQs
Trial Program FAQs

How much does it cost?

To start your trial, we will place a hold on your card for the price of the item, plus tax. If you decide to return the item, you will be charged the $30 trial fee, plus tax.

If you'd like to keep your trial item, you'll be charged the full retail price, plus tax, at the end of your trial period, and your $30 trial fee will be waived.

Which products can I try with the Trial program?

You may only try out items that have been recommended by your expert. Please chat with your expert to determine which products are best for you, and then they will add those items to your personalized curation with the option to add to cart as a trial item. Complete Golf Sets (also known as “Packaged Sets” or “Box Sets”) are not eligible.

Are there any limits to how many items I can try?

You may try up to three items per order. Each individual item requires a deposit, and each will incur a trial fee, plus tax, if not returned.

Which payment methods can I use?

You can pay for your trial with Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards. Gift cards and other forms of credit are not accepted as payment for trial orders.

Can promotions be applied to trial orders?

Yes, you can use promotions on trial orders. When you apply a promotion at checkout, you will see discounts applied to both the trial fee(s) and the overall deposit required. If there is a maximum dollar amount associated with the promotion, the dollars will be distributed among all items in the cart.

Will trial orders have credit card validations?

We sometimes request payment verification by authorizing additional pennies on the order and asking you to verify the amount that you see on your credit card statement. You will not be charged for these additional pennies; when your trial ends, we will adjust the amount and charge you accordingly.

What are the Terms & Conditions?

You can view all the Terms & Conditions for the Trial program here in the Golf Club Trial Program section.

When does my trial period start?

Your 14 day trial starts on the day immediately after the date that you receive your clubs, as determined by the delivery date scan from our carrier. If items are shipped in multiple packages, your trial will start the day after the last item arrives.

When does my trial period end?

Use your trial items for up to 14 days out on the course, at a driving range, or in a simulator to decide if they're right for you.

Your trial period will end either 14 days after your trial period starts (at 11:59 pm Pacific Time) OR once you let us know which items you plan to keep or return, whichever happens first.

How do I return trial items?

We recommend that you keep the original boxes that your trial items came in for ease of return.

To start a return, navigate to My Orders on your Curated.com Account within 14 days of delivery. Select “Manage trial” on your trial order and indicate which items you'd like to send back. You must make a selection to keep or return each item in your order to submit the form.

When you submit the form, we will initiate a return request with Customer Support, and you'll receive a pdf return label for each item that you want to return. Return shipping fees are waived for trial items.

When am I charged?

If you are keeping all the items in your order, you will be charged either when you elect to keep everything or when your trial period expires, whichever happens first.

If you want to return one or more items, you will be charged once you return them.

What happens if I want to return the item after my trial period has ended?

If your trial period has ended and you haven't submitted a return request for your trial item(s), you will be charged the full retail price, plus tax.

If you did not use your trial item during the trial period and want to return it unused after the trial period ends, Curated's standard return policy for unused items applies. See details on the return policy here.
